Grace Hoop 2018 表演事

今年的演出是非常有代表性的一年，我的個人作品《Circular Linearity》除了在香港的《大埔青年藝術節》演出外，還把它帶到《克羅地亞呼拉圈節》，可以將具有香港本土特色的影象結合呼拉圈舞蹈展示給生活環境截然不同的地球人。

和中馬芳子合作的《Secret Journey – 天堂異客》在德國栢林 Dock 11 演出，將 Hoop Dance 和歷史影像，形體藝術，電影情節混合，對於當代劇場也是一個新奇的實驗。

第二年和進念二十面體合作的《魔笛遊樂場》，加入了國立臺灣戲曲學院的學生一起交流演出，除了呼拉圈編舞，學習配合不同的形體和雜耍道具也是一個新挑戰。

Grace Hoop 2018 Performance

What a significant great year! My personal project《Circular Linearity》premiere in《Tai Po Youth Art Festival》and also brought to《Croatian Hoop Convention》! The image of my hometown “Hong Kong” melting with hoop manipulation was exposed to other side of the planet! Yay!

The production in Dock 11 Berlin with Yoshiko Chuma 《Secret Journey – Stranger than Paradise》was mixing hoop dance with horizontal images, contemporary movements, cinematic moments is not just new to me but also a new experiment in theatre experience.

In 2nd edition of《Bauhaus Magic Flute Playground》with Zuni Icosahedron. This year adding acrobatics and juggling elements from the students of <National Taiwan College of Performing Arts>. Apart from hoop choreography, learning to crop with different movement and props manipulation is also a new challenge.

除了在香港的恆常課程，今年還在《克羅地亞呼拉圈節》以及《德國漢堡雜耍節》教授呼拉圈工作坊。一向熱愛教授 Hoop Dance 的我，可以說是夢想成真，過去幾年在呼拉圈社羣學習了許多東西，現在已經進步不小的我能夠回饋社羣，真的開心得不能言喻。

Apart from the weekly class in Hong Kong, my super honour to teach in 《Croatian Hoop Convention》 and 《Hamburg Juggling Convention》. There were uncountable things I learnt from the hoop community during the past. And now with my improved hooping skills, I can contribute to the community. Super happy to hear people love my class, dream come true!

今年加了第二個火圈，經德國《鳳凰火舞節》以及《漢堡雜耍節》兩個 Fire Space 洗禮後。。。勁左！新一年希望遇到更夠火人。

This year I started my 2nd fire hoop. My fire hoop skill is definitely advanced after the purification from two fire spaces from 《Fire Phoenix Convention》and 《Hamburg Juggling Convention》in Germany. Next year more fire!!!

2018 小孩事

《瞬間遊樂場》第一次全程策劃的活動，以呼拉圈和 Bauhaus 設計為構思出發點，申延到公共空間的變化可能。運用顔色，形狀以及我們的身體去改變一個場域的預設功能。

而《大埔年藝術節》呼拉圈舞蹈工作坊以及進念‧二十面體《魔笛遊樂場》編舞及演出，大小朋友當然一齊郁身郁勢，發掘潛能，開心學習。

《Momentary Playground》is my first time curate the whole program, using hoops and Bauhaus design to alert the use of public space. With colours, shapes and our body to changing the default use of the environment.
Hoops always brining joy no matter you are kids or adult. In《Bauhaus Magic Flute Playground》and 《Tai Po Youth Arts Festival》, we all play, dance, laugh and learn together.

在我玩火圈的第二個年頭，和第一年玩雙火圈。這兩年常常惦掛的火舞者的夢想之地《鳳凰火舞聚會》，今天終於可以一同朝聖！

每晚我們都在廣闊的火舞地域，和巨大的燃料供給站繁忙地進入進出。看見許多新奇瘋狂的火舞道具，每個舞者都有其獨特氣態。有的身體優雅地與火具流動，也有瘋狂刺激的技術挑戰。在這個只得攝氏7度的夏天晚上，也唯有靠著跳火舞取暖，這三個晚上燒得極為盡興。

In my second year of fire dance anniversary, and my first year of my double fire hoop. Here I come to “Phoenix Fire Convention” where every spinners dreaming to the pilgrimage of fire.

Every nights inside the giant fire space, huge dipping station with unlimited fuel supply and happy helpers, all the rare and insane fire props spinning all night long. Watch the artistry between elegant and mad, the uniqueness between flow and tech. Under the summer night with only 7 degrees, we must dance with fire to warm ourselves and become lively from movement and flames.

回到德國便火速地去參與《鳳凰火舞聚會》，返回闊別兩年的世界感覺十分自在親切。看著各色各樣的人類，認真地對代自已的興趣，嘅自我陶醉也一起互動交流，人羣凝聚的力量造就了這個 Flow Art 朝聖地。

After two years of separation, I feel absolutely comfortable and relief being in a festival world. A diverse of human beings gather together to tranquilize from the within. The determination of our hobbies and love open the freedom to our bodies and mind, a pilgrimage to the art of flow and fire.

完成香港的《魔笛遊樂場》後，隔日便跑去德國趕著參與在艾斯費爾德舉行的《鳳凰火舞聚會》。沐浴在色彩豐富的圖林根森林，吸入的每一口空氣夾著花草樹木的味道，高底起伏的山線，變化的天色雲彩都收入無盡的視野之中。

After finished the《Bauhaus Magic Flute Playground》in Hong Kong. The day after I rushed to Germany for “Phoenix Fire Convention”. It held in a small town called Eisfeld inside the Thuringia forest. Dipping into the nature with colours and greens, the purified air, the shallow mountains, the moving clouds in endless view of sky.
